Evenimente

  • 1265: Prima atestare documentară a localităţii Hunedoara, judeţul Hunedoara.
  • 1535: Se încheie construirea bisericii Sfântul Dumitru din Suceava, ctitorie a voievodului Moldovei, Petru Rareş.
  • 1698: Apare la Iaşi, în limbile greacă şi română, prima lucrare a lui Dimitrie Cantemir - "Divanul sau gâlceava înţeleptului cu lumea sau giudeţul sufletului cu trupul".
  • 1877: Cucerirea redutei Griviţa de către trupele române.
  • 1914: Primul spectacol al Companiei Marioara Voiculescu-Bulandra (ulterior denumită Bulandra-Manolescu-Maximilian-Storin), unul dintre cele mai importante teatre ale Capitalei şi care va fiinţa până în anul 1941.
  • 1920: Înaltul Decret Regal nr. 3655 reînfiinţează Episcopia Ortodoxă Română de la Oradea.
  • 1940: În Hotelul Belvedere de la Viena, Germania şi Italia impun României cedarea Transilvaniei de Nord-Vest în favoarea Ungariei. Decizia va fi cunoscută în istoria românească sub numele de Diktatul de la Viena.
  • 1944: Trupele sovietice intră în Bucureşti.
